It’s only day one of New York Fashion Week and one of the season’s buzziest shows has already happened. Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas Originals debuted today and the front row was packed.
Not a surprise, but it was like, seriously packed. And before you start wondering why Kylie Jenner’s not seated front row, it’s because she was in the show!
It was Jay Z, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, North West, and Anna Wintour front and center.
In the front row: KimKardashian was flanked on both sides by Beyoncé and Anna Wintour as little North sat in her lap at Kanye West’s collaborative debut with Adidas at New York Fashion Week on Thursday.
The 34-year-old had brought along daughter North, but the toddler apparently grew upset ahead of the show and was taken backstage.
Her youngest sister Kylie Jenner, 17, was among the models who featured in the presentation, while pro Kendall watched from the sidelines.
The full collection included further footwear designs. Woven low-top trainers were introduced for men, alongside suede stilettos and platform snow boots for women.
Adidas said that the pieces in the collection would create a wardrobe of essential pieces that would “absolve consumers of dressing’s daily stress” by offering simple items that could be appropriate in a wide variety of situations and “freely combined in infinite ways”.
