Street Style Trends: Lizzie Armanto's Vans Capsule Collection

Pro Skateboarder Lizzie Armanto and renown street apparel brand Vans joined forces once again for a capsule collection this Autumn. Armando’s endorsed colourway of the Sk8-Hi Pro features colourful floral embroidery accents on canvas and suede textiles, engineered with Duracap reinforced uppers, Vans’ superior UltraCush footbed technology, and Vans’ original waffle outsole. This is nothing new to the American brand, as this year, the skateboard house has partnered with several famous entities, highlighting the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. This capsule collection will completely take over the street style trends in the upcoming seasons.

There have always been amazingly talented women skateboarders but there’s no denying that Vans Pro and Tony Hawk protégé, Lizzie Armanto, is one of the most groundbreaking ladies in skateboard history. In 2016 she became the 1st woman to ever grace the cover of Transworld, then in 2017 she dropped Thrasher & Birdhouse parts and was the 3rd woman to make the cover of Thrasher (and the first one since 1994). The truth is, Santa Monica native, Lizzie Armanto, is flat out gnarlier than half the dudes out there.
