Pantone Honours Princes’ Purple Rain With ‘Love Symbol No.2’ – “Purple rain, purple rain”… who doesn’t know this amazing song from the missed Prince, right? I truly believe that we will always and forever associate the exciting shade of purple with the late artist, Prince. And now it will be even easier to recall it since that color is now officially a thing and a fashion trend thanks to the Pantone Colour Institute, who have just stamped Love Symbol #2; a regal hue in honor of the superstar’s Yamaha purple piano. The catwalk is already surrendered with the trend. Consider the Cadbury-wrapper colourway on track to become fall winter 2017’s winning shade and a strong trend.
