Now in 2014, there’s plenty more new couples going public with their love. Khloé Kardashian found a new boyfriend in rapper French Montana, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt is currently getting cozy with Tasha McCauley, the cofounder and CEO of a robotics company based in Silicon Valley. There’s also Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara, who have been spotted all over each other from coast to coast, and Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin, who kept their A-list love under wraps before splitting up.

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were spotted getting quite cozy during a farmers market trip together in mid-July. Ian was all over Nikki as she checked out produce, slinging his arm around her shoulder and planting kisses on her head. The following month, they packed on the PDA backstage at the Teen Choice Awards.
Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara reportedly hooked up over the Fourth of July weekend after meeting for the first time at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in May; at the time, Sofia was engaged to longtime boyfriend Nick Loeb — they ended their relationship in May — and Joe was newly single after splitting from Bridget Peters back in March.
Jaws dropped in early August when rumors of a relationship between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin first made the rounds. Multiple sources reported that the couple had been cozying up since June, not long after Jennifer called it quits with her ex, Nicholas Hoult. Meanwhile, the Coldplay frontman and his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, famously announced their “conscious uncoupling” back in March.
Rumors of a new romance for Cameron Diaz began in early May after she hit the gym with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden. After their gym date, they both attended an A-list book party with Nicole, Joel Madden, and Gwyneth Paltrow. If their sweet PDA-filled stroll in June wasn’t confirmation enough, Cameron and Benji took their love to the next level when they were spotted getting cozy on the beach in Miami over the Fourth of July weekend.
As of October, Benji and Cameron’s relationship was so strong that sources have reported they’re planning to get engaged.
Since they began dating in late Summer, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have taken their love all over the globe, popping up in LA; Paris; Brussels, Belgium; NYC; and most recently, Miami. While their relationship hasn’t been without controversy it’s been hard to ignore how smiley and happy Robert seems with his new lady, and their aww-inducing PDA has made us pretty thrilled, too. As their romance seems to be going strong, we can hopefully look forward to many more outings (and maybe even a red carpet debut!) for these two in the coming year.

As rumors of a relationship between the two spread in July, reports about Matthew’s alleged past as a male escort emerged. Since then, the couple has been spotted around LA on hikes and daytime outings, and they even took a PDA-filled trip to Italy together over the Summer. Most recently, Lea confirmed their status on Instagram when she shared a photo of their shadows holding hands with the caption, “To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.”

Ariana Grande and Big Sean‘s romance was first brought to our attention in August, when backstage cameras at the MTV VMAs caught the couple holding hands after Ariana’s performance. In October, Sean and Ariana shared a smooch while on Universal Studios Hollywood’s Revenge of the Mummy ride and Ariana confirmed that they were an item, telling Ryan Seacrest during an interview.
After his Summer fling with actress Michelle Rodriguez, Zac Efron moved on to model and wardrobe stylist Sami Miro. The couple was spotted together in Denmark in September before attending and LA Dodgers game and Halloween party together, where they left holding hands. The couple took their relationship to the next level in late November; they were spotted leaving a pet supply store with an adorable black puppy in tow, and Sami confirmed via Instagram that the two had adopted the dog together.
Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger rekindled their romance in October after she wrapped up her Bangerz world tour. Patrick, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, had previously admitted that he had a crush on the singer, and the two briefly dated in 2011 while Miley was on a break from then-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The couple made their new romance public when they were spotted sharing a sweet kiss at the UC Berkeley vs. USC game in LA in November, and they’ve been staying close and showing PDA ever since.
Brooklyn Beckham and Chloë Grace Moretz were first linked over the Summer, when they were spotted on an adorable skate date and attended the Teen Choice Awards together. Although the duo has been private about their relationship, Brooklyn has reportedly been “smitten” with Chloë, and the 17-year-old actress said the sweetest things about the Beckhams in an interview in September.
