For her wedding to the Duke of Cambridge, on April 29th, 2011, the Duchess wore a Cartier halo tiara borrowed from the Queen. It was originally made for the Queen Mother in 1936. The Duchess paired this with bespoke earrings by Robinson Pelham.
For a reception at Calgary Zoo during the Royal Tour of Canada on July 8, 2011, she sported another heirloom: the Queen Mother’s maple leaf brooch. Her diamond earrings were wedding gifts from her parents.
On a visit to Leicester on March 8, 2012, the Duchess wore green amethyst and diamond oval drop earrings by Kiki McDonough.
